Time is running out

If you are an EU citizen or a dependant/extended family member of an EU citizen who had resided in the UK on or before 31st December 2020, MUST make an application for a pre-settled/settled status before 30th June 2021 to continue to live in the UK. If you fail to do so, you will be living in the UK illegally. This will affect your right to work, benefits and other rights in the UK post 30 June 2021.

There are no exemptions even if you have Permanent Residency in the UK. EU citizens and dependants with Permanent Residency must apply for settled status under this scheme before the 30 June 2021. Please consult www.gov.uk for further details.

The application procedure is relatively easy. It's an online application process. You can start the process via – ‘EU Exit: ID Check app, installed on your phone.
